I have noticed, reading throught the material that I just received, I do not see anything about warm up and cool down. Is this not necessary.

It's always a good idea to take five minutes before the routine and go through the movements, without resistance, or to go through a brief aerobic warmup using as many muscle groups as possible without going at too high an intensity to optimize blood flow. That's the warmup. After every aerobic session a gradual cool down until heart rate is ideally below 90 is important.
